How can I be assured my data will be kept private? NetCommissions is committed to keeping your data private and secure. To this end, NetCommissions has expressly stated how we will handle your private data. For a greater understanding of the legal obligations NetCommissions adheres to regarding data privacy, pleaserefer to the NetCommissions Privacy Policy as well as the NetCommissions Terms of Use Agreement.


Does NetCommissions ever view or use my data? No. As stated in the NetCommissions Privacy Policy "NetCommissions will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such Data except as provided in the NetCommissions Terms of Use, or as may be required by law. Individual records may at times be viewed or accessed only for the purpose of resolving a problem, support issue, or suspected violation of the Terms of Use, or as may be required by law. Of course, customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user registration and password."


Is my data completely secure? When you log into NetCommissions, you will see a small lock icon at the bottom of your browser display, indicating that a secure (SSL) connection has been established to our server. In addition, the URLs used to access your data on NetCommissions are all preceded with https instead of http, which also indicates that a secure connection is being maintained for data access from NetCommissions.


How do I import my existing data into NetCommissions? Data Management is an integral element of NetCommissions provides an Import Wizard to move your data from any program that can save its data in the CSV (comma separated value) file format. The Import Wizard takes you step-by-step through the import process, allowing you to specify how your data will be organized once it is in NetCommissions. The Administrator and all certified users in your organization can use the Import Wizard to move data into NetCommissions at anytime. Automated, System-to-System integration is also fully supported by NetCommissions.


What happens if a NetCommissions database goes down? NetCommissions has built redundancy into all its systems in order to minimize any system failures that could be perceived as customer outages. All components of the NetCommissions system are proactively monitored and managed so that faults are detected before system outages. NetCommissions realizes there may occasionally be system outages due to issues beyond our control. NetCommissions has established numerous escalation procedures to notify the proper personnel in the event of any system outage and remedy any issues as quickly as possible. Since the application is managed by NetCommissions for all customers, the people who best understand the architecture, installation, and design are immediately available to resolve any issues.


Can I house a backup of all my NetCommissions data at my own company? You can receive a complete download of all your company data on NetCommissions. Please contact your NetCommissions account manager for more information.
